Abstract

Background: Zirconia had emerged as a highly promising material for the production of attractive dental restorations due to its mechanical properties. One of the biggest issues with zirconia long bridge affected on dimension after sintering. The dimensional change of a zirconia bridge of more than six units after sintering will be affected. The aim of study: To evaluate the dimensional changes that occur during the fabrication process of a monolithic stabilized zirconia full-anatomy bridge under the influence of all around major stabilizer. Materials and Methods: The cast and specimen were designed digitally by Exo-Cad software. The specimen was designed from a 14-units full-anatomy zirconia bridge with nine cones divided into two groups: G1: control group (without a major stabilizer) and the G2: experimental group (all around major stabilizer. The nine cones were used to measure the dimensional change after sintering. After milling the zirconia bridge cutting from the blank by diamond fissure bur, sinter the zirconia in the furnace under (conventional sintering). The time for sintering was 12 hours; after that, remove the zirconia bridge from the furnace and cut the major stabilizer with a diamond disc. The bridge was placed in the 3Shape desktop scan (3Shape E1 Dental Lab Scanner, Denmark) for scanning; thereafter, the (STL) file is imported into Exo-CAD software for merging with the first designed bridge to determine the dimensional difference between each groups. The data were statistically analyzed using One-way ANOVA, followed by (GH) test to compare the groups at a significance level of p <0.05. Result: A significant difference occurred across the groups as determined by the One-way ANOVA and the (GH) test. shows the conventional sintering subgroups without major stabilizers had recorded the extremely highest results compared with the ``all around major stabilizer'' experimental group, so the best result is shown with the all-around major stabilizer. Discussion: the control group (without major stabilizer) zirconia bridge appears to induce more sintering responses compared to the all-around major stabilizer; the all-around major stabilizer provides a statistically significant improvement in most cases.
